HG Unpaid Balance Grant Application

Purpose:

The Helen Giddings Unpaid Balance Grant was designed to provide the financial support required to complete the degree. A student in her or his final semester(s) and exhausted or nearly exhausted all available grant and loan financial support, and meeting the criteria for graduation may apply for a Completion Grant.

Criteria: To qualify for the program the student must
1. be classified as a senior for the term(s) in which the Grant will be used.
2. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher or the minimum GPA required for graduation in the
3. major, whichever is higher.
4. be near or have exhausted eligibility to receive federal grants and loans.
